Volunteer

London BMX is an all volunteer organization. London BMX is built on the volunteers that dedicate there time and help out before during and after our events. Without our volunteers there would be no London BMX. We are always looking for volunteers to step up and make our races possible for our athletes. Parents, racers, family members, and spectators can all be involved in a number of ways; some of which are listed below.

Corner Marshall - Corner Marshalls are responsible for monitoring riders on the track looking for illegal contact, riders cutting across the track, and for assisting riders who have crashed or fallen while directing traffic around a fallen rider.

Staging and Staging Assistance - Stagers are responsible for the organization of riders at the gate and in staging riders to prepare for their motos.

Scorer - Scorers are responsible for writing down the finishing order of each rider in a moto and providing race results to the track officials for proper scoring.

Track Announcer - Track Announcer is responsible for calling the race, announcing what is happing on the track, calling the riders to the track for there motos, matching riders numbers to there names, and general track announcements before during and after a race.

IPCC Teen Camp

IPCC Teen Camp

Special Thanks goes out to the IPCC Teen Camp. For their community service project they came out to London BMX and helped out with track maintenance. Shoveling dirt, raking, watering, cutting grass, trimming and general track maintenance. All to help make London BMX the best track it can be and make our track a vital asset to the community.

Kohl's A Team

Thanks goes out to Kohl's A Team who volunteered their time to come out and help out at the track in anyway they could. They also helped in judging the days contests and helped the riders construct the track banner that was taken to the NBL Grand National race event. The banner that was constructed that day took second place in the banner contest. As part of the Kohl's A Team event Kohl's also made a generous donation to the track.
